PHIL TOWN IS BURIED UNDER A PILE OF KEYNOTE SLIDES

I've been less attentive to the Blog lately.  I'm sorry.  I'm just plain buried by creating Keynote presentations for the workshop we just did in Atlanta and now for the Power Within event in London, Ontario on Tuesday with Tony Robbins and Joel Osteen.  And on Wednesday I'm back on stage with Mayor Giuliani, General Powell, Laura Bush and Steve Forbes in Miami at the American Airlines Arena.  

I'll be on stage in front of (or in the middle of) 15,000 people talking Rule #1 at 'em.  I'll be taking some of your stories with me, particularly the fact that the Rule #1 investing revolution has spanned the globe with Rulers in India, China, Japan, Isreal, Germany, Brazil, Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, Britian, Poland, Ukraine, Mexico, Chile, Kenya, Egypt.  Words out even in Maine. 

I'll do my best to represent but I gotta focus or I'm going to go up there and break into a flop sweat when my mind goes blank.  Not a pretty sight.

AND THE ESSAY WINNERS ARE:

Thank you everyone who took the time to write in about your experiences with Rule #1.  We were deluged by essays.  If you didn't win this time, we hope to do this again so keep cranking on your investing and next year be ready with a really great story about the Rule #1 revolution.  

For the winners: We've got a problem with the contest.  We received so many great essays that we could not narrow it down to the "Top Ten". We realized it got down to this: We could either be totally arbitrary and flip coins for the final ten winners or we could expand the number of winners to match the essays we thought were good enough to win.

Melissa and I decided there were 36 winning essays.  In order to accomodate the additional 26 winners we're asking for your understanding that we are going to have to limit each winner to one seat.  In short, no spouse.  

If you are on the Winner list and really want to bring your spouse, if it will help you adjust to the new terms psychologically, you can assume your essay was not one of the "Top Ten" and therefore without this expansion of the number of winners, neither of you would be able to attend.  Feels better already, doesn't it?  

You may be secretly glad you get a weekend without the spouse, but if you really want your spouse to attend with you, include a request that your spouse attend with you in your response to our request for confirmation email.  We'll add spouses to take seats of winners who do not confirm their attendance before the deadline on Monday in the order the request for a spouse seat is received IF WE HAVE SPACES OPEN UP.  (It's not likely).

The $4,995 Rule #1 3-Day Cash Flow Workshop (Beta) that you've won with your awesome essay will be held this coming Friday through Sunday, February 17-19 at a venue 35 miles south of the Atlanta airport.  Melissa will be emailing each of you the venue information and the daily agenda.  

Friday night we're hosting a party for all y'all Winners at our home.  There will be a few more people there than we originally thought but we think it will still be a pretty good time and we're looking forward to meeting even more of y'all face to face.

HOTEL ROOMS:  We've set aside a block of hotel rooms at the venue for those of you who are not in the Atlanta area and she will include information about reserving your room at the best rate we could get. Please check your email for your confirmation email.  She will send that email as quickly as she can following this post.  

We must have your confirmation email by NOON, MONDAY, FEB 13.

If we have not heard from you by noon Monday via email to Melissa we will assume you can't make it and we will put a spouse in your seat at that time.  

To be clear; this means that if you respond at 12:01 pm Monday or later, you will NOT be attending the workshop no matter what kind of extraordinary excuse you've got for not responding on time.

Thanks to all of you Rulers I will forever remember this essay contest to remind myself to gird up for a deluge of writing if I ever offer another writing contest to a bunch of heavy duty blogger investors!  We are faced with a rather significant task to read and judge the essays.  As they say, 'be careful what you ask for; you just might get it.'

We are going to hold our first Rule #1 Cash Flow 3-Day Workshop here in Atlanta Friday through Sunday, Feb 17-19.  This is a BETA workshop to get our the team ready for their first live events 'paid' coming up in March where the students will have paid $4,995 each to attend.
